The #EntertainDC Office is pleased to recognize Gabrielle Ewing as our Filmmaker of the Month!
Gabrielle is an award winning producer and filmmaker who is fiercely passionate about amplifying stories that change mainstream narratives. Gabrielle graduated with honors in Journalism and Film & Television from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts and has worked for NBC New York, CNN’s Documentary Unit, and National Geographic. She is currently an Assistant Director of Programming for PBS Digital Studios in Crystal City, VA.
"It's an incredible honor to have been chosen as OCTFME's Filmmaker of the Month," Gabrielle said. "Throughout my last five years in DC, I have been able to hone my craft by directing, producing, and editing short documentaries about science and the environment, but my favorite topic to explore is complicated, messy personal stories that are profoundly and universally human. I am so thankful to call DC home and to belong to such a tight knit creative community that has challenged me and supported me both personally and professionally."
